The use of video on demand (called UPC on Demand by the company) by UPC digital television customers continues to grow. In the first half of 2011, an average of more than 411,000 customers per month used video on demand. They watched a program, series or film from the UPC on Demand offering 32 million times. That is 20% more than in the first six months of 2010 when 27 million programs were watched by an average of 340,000 customers per month. On an annual basis, UPC on Demand users watch an average of 100 hours of requested content at times that suit them. This year, UPC on Demand is significantly expanding its film offering.
