Filmmaker and artist Johan Grimonprez will receive an extensive retrospective in his own country (Belgium) for the first time. The retrospective on the Canvas television channel shows various ensembles with video installations, storyboards and drawings, built around key works from his oeuvre. Grimponprez's film and video work maneuvers between art and cinema, documentary and fiction, practice and theory.
