Both The Invader by Nicolas Provost and Blue Bird by Gust van den Berghe won prizes at the awards ceremony of the 38th Ghent Film Festival. The Georges Delrue Prize for best music and sound design went to Evgueni Galperine and Paul Francois Maerhoudt for The Invader, while actor Issaka Sawadogo also received a special mention. The International Jury awarded Blue Bird a Special Mention in the Best Film category.
