Steven Spielberg's 'Tintin' film is being received with applause abroad, with only an exception here and there. The world premiere of The Adventures of Tintin, the Steven Spielberg film based on the work of Hergé, will take place in Brussels on Saturday. In France, just like in Belgium, the film is eagerly awaited, because Tintin is considered half French. The weekly magazine L'Express calls the film an 'exciting adventure' with a strong sense of nostalgia. "We're getting a piece of our youth back."
