"Marina", the latest film by director Stijn Coninx about singer Rocco Granata, receives 650,000 euros in production support from the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF). The province of Limburg decided earlier this year to invest 500,000 euros in the film, which should be completed in 2013. "The Wasteland", the third feature film by screenwriter/director Pieter Van Hees ("Linkeroever", "Dirty Mind") also received 650,000 euros in production support, as did the animated film "Sammy's adventures: escape from paradise" by Ben Stassen.
