The 38th Ghent Film Festival started last night with the opening film 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy'.
For the official start of the Film Festival, the traditional red carpet was rolled out in front of the doors of the Kinepolis yesterday. There was not much foreign acting or directing talent on display. But the traditional parade of Belgian filmmakers, actors and well-known Flemish people who climbed the stairs through a guard of honor of Ghent police officers did create a unique glamor atmosphere.
