With Oscar winners Hans Zimmer, Elliot Goldenthal and Howard Shore (subject to change) on the guest list, the 38th Ghent Film Festival promises to close strongly on Saturday, October 22. After the annual presentation of the prestigious film music prizes, the Brussels Philharmonic, led by Dirk Brossé, presents a remarkable selection from the extensive oeuvre of these great film composers. As usual, the live music is accompanied by impressive film fragments. The concert is dedicated to the festival's late PR agent and consultant, Ronni Chasen.
