The shoot of 'Parade's End', an American-British TV series about the First World War, starts in Nieuwpoort on Monday morning. The crew, including successful actors Rebecca Hall and Benedict Cumberbatch, will stay in our country for seven weeks. 'Parade's End' is a co-production of HBO, known for 'Band of Brothers' and 'The Sopranos', BBC and VRT. The young aristocrat Christopher is separated from his wife Sylvia by the war. While she indulges in an endless series of exclusive parties in England, Christopher must try to adjust to life at the front.
