An interview with actor Michel Van Dousselaere will be published in Gazet Van Antwerpen on Saturday. In addition to his opinion about the language riot in The Divine Monster, he also talks about the ever-increasing intolerance. Van Dousselaere, once an Antwerp resident, has lived in Amsterdam for two decades. "Love was not the only reason why I left Antwerp behind. In the early 1990s, the popularity of the Vlaams Blok in the metropolis increased enormously. That annoyed me immensely. I was shocked by the intolerance that prevailed there. But also in Amsterdam can no longer deny that intolerance is increasing."
