Actor Gène Bervoets has taken Ilse Beyers, editor-in-chief and responsible publisher of Dag Allemaal, before the Antwerp criminal court because she refuses to publish a right of reply. On May 17, 2011, an article appeared in Dag Allemaal in which anonymous employees said that Bervoets spoiled the atmosphere on the set of the VTM telenovella 'Ella' and that he did not know his lyrics. The actor denied this and tried to stop the publication of the article, but the press was already running. The actors, extras and crew of 'Ella' responded with an open letter to the media in which they supported Bervoets. Bervoets still requests its publication and compensation. The Public Prosecution Service demanded a fine of 5,500 euros.
