Yesterday, the Ghent Film Festival at the Pakhuis in Ghent announced the full program of the 38th edition, which runs from October 11 to 22. This once again guarantees more than a hundred quality films and special events on the fringes of cinema. Eye-catchers are the 11th World Soundtrack Awards, the Maestros of Suspense concert and the exhibition about Ingmar Bergman in the Provincial Cultural Center Caermersklooster. Top guests this year are Canadian director Norman Jewison, who will receive a Joseph Plateau Honorary Award, Italian disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder, who will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and French actress Isabelle Huppert, who will present her latest film, Mon Pire Cauchemar.
