Swooni, the feature debut of Kaat Beels, has been selected in the New Directors Competition of the Chicago International Film Festival (6 - 20 October). With the selection of her feature debut from hundreds of first and second films, Kaat Beels is also putting herself on the map internationally as a debuting filmmaker. In September, the film, which is touring internationally under the title Hotel Swooni, had its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
