The popular animated series 'The Simpsons' may get its own TV channel. The series has almost 500 episodes and is the longest running sitcom on American television. 'The Simpsons' first appeared on TV in 1989. That's why the Fox television network is considering creating a digital channel that would broadcast episodes throughout the day.
