Last weekend there was a commotion in Great Britain about the BBC banning the names "before/after Christ". However, the British public broadcaster denies this. A number of British newspapers wrote that the BBC would replace the terms "before/after Christ" with "our era" ("common era"), so as not to disadvantage non-Christian listeners and viewers.
