Spanish director Pedro Almodovar receives a monograph. Taschen, the German publisher of art books, was given access to its archive and was able to publish photos that the filmmaker himself took on the set. Almodovar invited prominent Spanish authors to write introductions to the chapters on each of his films. He also selected texts that he wrote himself, but the lion's share of the book obviously consists of the colorful images for which the successful Spanish filmmaker is known.
