The Ghent Film Festival joins the international protest against the arrest of six filmmakers by the Iranian authorities last weekend. "As a statement, we will include three or four Iranian films in our program," it said. “In the name of freedom of expression, we demand the immediate release of these artists and pay tribute to their courage to continue to defend ideals in difficult circumstances,” the organization said.
