Flemish film is alive and well and is being celebrated at various festivals, such as the Ostend Film Festival. The Flemish documentary is also in full bloom and the Flemish Documentary Weeks want to prove this. Flanders Doc and Cinemanie are joining forces for the first Flemish Documentary Weeks, with the aim of putting the Flemish documentary film at the top of the bill in the cinema. New talent and internationally acclaimed documentaries are shown in five Kinepolis complexes: Brussels, Ghent, Hasselt, Kortrijk and Metropolis Antwerp.
