'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy', a film by Swedish director Tomas Alfredson and based on the bestseller of the same name by John le Carré, will open the 38th Ghent Film Festival on Tuesday, October 11. 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' is a spy film about George Smiley, played by Gary Oldman, a retired spy expert. Until MI6 calls him back to track down a Russian spy who has infiltrated the highest ranks of the British security service.
