The 38th Ghent Film Festival has included three Belgian films in the festival's competition. It concerns three idiosyncratic films: Blue Bird by Gust Van den Berghe, The Invader by Flemish Brussels resident Nicolas Provost and L'Hiver Dernier by the American-Belgian director John Shank. Lena by Christophe Van Rompaey will also be shown at the festival.
