The fifth edition of the film festival in Ostend attracted 25,000 visitors over the past eight days, a record. Homegrown talent caught on again, with the presentation of the Flemish Film Awards as the apotheosis. The successful opening evening of the Ostend Film Festival was a harbinger of what was to follow. With 'Hasta La Vista', the non-profit organization Les Films du Bord de Mer could not have wished for a better opening film.
