Just before the start of the shooting period of the Bollywood film Blood Money in Antwerp, the shoot was canceled. The film is now being shot in Cape Town. That was a bit of a shock. Permission to film had been arranged everywhere, plane tickets had been reserved and hotels had been booked. Toerisme Vlaanderen had invested months of time and 150,000 euros in the project. The strong Antwerp diamond lobby is said to have foiled the shoot for fear that the scenario would put the sector in a bad light. How could this happen?
