The very first episode of the soap opera "Familie" premiered on December 30, 1991, and has now been broadcast on the Flemish channel VTM for exactly 20 years. Despite the more than 4,660 episodes that have already been written, the screenwriters have new topical storylines and emotional plots in store for the coming season. For the occasion, well-known guest actors will also be seen in the series next fall, including Camilia Blereau, Frank Hoelen and the Dutch actress Lone Van Rosendaal.
