An upcoming cinema film based on a Belgian comic is a Marsupilami film. The budget: 39 million euros. According to Marsu Productions publisher Jean-François Moyersoen, the film is 95% finished. Director Alain Chabat, who also made the second Asterix film, has been editing since January. Just like in the Smurfs film, the Marsupilami is a 3D animated creature with real sets and actors around it. The French film title is Houba! Le Marsupilami et l'Orchidée de Chicxulub.
