A record number of Flemish productions and co-productions have been invited to the 35th edition of the Montreal World Film Festival this year. In addition to the premieres of Geoffrey Enthoven's Hasta la vista and Bavo Defurne's Noordzee Texas, the selection of which was previously confirmed, Montréal today announces the selection of the feature documentary Epilogue, five short films and two minority co-productions with Flanders. With its selections for this festive edition, the World Film Festival resolutely opts for new, upcoming talent from Flanders. No fewer than five short films will premiere there: Badpakje 46 by Wannes Destoop; Bento Monogatari by Pieter Dirkx; The special life of Rocky de Vlaeminck by Kevin Meul; Dancing with Travolta by Lenny Van Wesemael; and Sous la peau, the short documentary that Mathias Verleyen made with his VAF Wildcard.
