We have lost actor Christopher Mayer. The American was barely 57. Mayer became known to the general public as a temporary portrayer of Vance Duke in the CBS series 'Dukes of Hazzard'. He was evicted from the series when Tom Wopat and John Schneider returned. The American also once had small roles in 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine' and the film 'Liar Liar'.
