The Antwerp rock band Triggerfinger writes the soundtrack for the feature debut Offline by director Peter Monsaert.
Offline tells the story of Rudy Vandekerckhove, an unemployed 47-year-old washing machine repairman, who fruitlessly tries to pick up the thread of his life again after a period of setbacks. He seeks connection with what he let go of in the past, but is by no means welcomed with open arms. His demons from the past seem to be gaining the upper hand again, until an anonymous encounter on the internet takes his life in a different direction.
