De Persgroep, the Flemish owner of de Volkskrant, among others, wants to buy the Dutch television channels from SBS. Media magnate John de Mol previously announced that he wanted to buy the channels from SBS Netherlands. Other candidates include De Telegraaf Media Groep and the Finnish Sanoma.
