The program includes 71 film titles from Africa, Asia and Latin America, with a focus on the film country Brazil. Here the curators mainly selected examples of recent Brazilian cinema, whether or not in the favelas. 5xfavela was shot by young favela residents and Estômago is an at times rocambolesque, but also pitch-black story about food, power and sex.
