Following the international success that Hans Van Nuffel and Thijs De Block achieved with their films, both were honored. They received a certificate from the municipality. In 2010, Van Nuffel achieved international success with his first feature film 'Adem'. With his debut 'Aaron', Thijs De Block came in second place at a film festival in Greece.
