At the Rotterdam International Film Festival (IFFR), Belgian video artist Nicolas Provost won one of the three Tiger Awards for best short film with his entry 'Stardust'. The other winners were the American Nathaniel Dorsky with 'Pastourelle' and the American-Indian Natasha Mendonca with 'Jan Villa'. The Italian Alberto De Michele was nominated for the European Film Awards with 'I Lupi'. Provost's work was chosen from 28 entries from around the world.
