64-year-old Ronni Chasen, a loyal American employee of the Ghent Film Festival, was brutally murdered on Monday in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. After returning from a film premiere, she was shot in her car. Chasen had a career of 40 years and was mainly a publicity agent for film composers. She has represented composers such as Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, Elliot Goldentahl and James Newton Howard.
