"Clean," Koen Van Sande's debut feature film, will be the closing film of the eighteenth Ostend Film Festival on February 6, 2026. The film follows Mathieu, a police commissioner in Brussels who fights drug crime while simultaneously trying to protect his heroin-addicted brother. Inspired by the book "Broers waren we" (We Were Brothers) and Van Sande's own life, the film highlights the human side of addiction. Vincent Van Sande and Tibo Vandenborre star.
