On December 21, 2025, the shortest day of the year, Short Film Day will be celebrated in more than twenty Dutch cinemas. This day will focus on Dutch short films, which can also be viewed online via Picl. The program includes seven diverse short films, including the animation "Wad Is, Is Now" by Jikke Lesterhuis and the drama "Summer Souvenir" by Louka Hoogendijk. There will also be an international children's program with four films.
