Paramount has made a hostile cash takeover bid for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), directly to WBD shareholders. Paramount considers this bid more valuable than the deal recently announced by Netflix. Netflix offered $27.75 per share for Warner Bros. and HBO, while Paramount offered $30 per share for the entire company. Paramount CEO David Ellison claims their bid is superior and urges WBD shareholders to consider it.
