Michel van der Aa, known for the VR opera "From Dust" and winner of Cannes Immersive, has launched the VR app "Here." This app, which is free but requires a VR headset, features three of his works and can be experienced temporarily at the Nxt Museum in Amsterdam. With "Here," Van der Aa aims to reach people who normally cannot or do not want to go to the theater. The app includes arias from his operas "Upload" and "Blank Out," as well as a more ambitious digital song cycle, "The Book of Sand."
