Eye Filmmuseum is facing budget cuts and is undergoing a reorganization, cutting 30 full-time equivalents. This will result in a 15% reduction in film screenings, two exhibitions per year instead of three, and the discontinuation of the Eye Art & Film Prize. The museum will also remain closed on Mondays during the day. Director Bregtje van der Haak states that the cuts are necessary to maintain financial health, despite strong attendance extras. The reorganization also includes outsourcing the catering services to save costs.
