The 31st Leuven Short Film Festival in Belgium, which kicks off on November 28th, focuses this year on Dutch short films. Victoria Warmerdam, a recent Oscar winner, will feature in a special program, and Douwe Dijkstra will return with a masterclass and installation. The Dutch festival Go Short presents two programs featuring emerging talent. Films such as Rumi Kaul's "Class" and Jop Leuven's "Marleen" will compete in the European competition, while Sebald van der Waal's "New City" will be in the Flemish competition.
