The Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) is celebrating Suriname's 50th anniversary of independence with the Cinema Suriname program at the Eye Film Museum. This event includes presentations and a panel discussion on the representation of Suriname in film and television. Participants such as actor Daniël Kolf, producer Naomi Wills, director Patrick Chin, and actor Manoushka Zeegelaar Breeveld will explore the diversity and perspectives in the representation of Surinamese history and the present. The event, aimed at professionals and open to the public, will take place on November 26, 2025.
