The Flemish film "Skiff," directed by Cecilia Verheyden, won the Best Film award in the Retueyos competition at the Gijón International Film Festival in Spain. The film, written by Verheyden and Vincent Vanneste, follows fifteen-year-old Malou as she struggles with personal relationships within her rowing club. "Skiff" has previously screened at international festivals such as the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and will be released in Belgian cinemas on February 4, 2026.
