AVROTROS has announced that it will discontinue several programs in 2027, such as Draadstaal, Opium op Oerol, and Het Zondagmorgen Concert, due to budget cuts. Culture and arts programs such as Close Up and Man en Kunst will also disappear. Radio programs such as Andermans Veren and De Sandwich will also be discontinued. The program Muziekcafé will continue, but with fewer live performances. EenVandaag and Zappsport will also have to make budget cuts. AVROTROS previously discontinued Flikken Rotterdam. BNNVARA will also discontinue programs such as Kassa and First Dates in 2027.
