Amsterdam has a new XXL cinema in its business district: Cinema The Pulse. This nine-screen complex, initiated by Peter van Vogelpoel, is located between the ring road and SC Buitenveldert. Despite initial skepticism about the location, Van Vogelpoel, known for his work on De Filmhallen, has pushed ahead with the project. Cinema The Pulse, which also includes a restaurant and bar, officially opens on December 12th. The complex serves as a catalyst for area development and offers three "cinema on demand" screens in addition to regular screens.
