The winners of the film competitions were announced at IDFA 2025 at Eye. "A Fox Under a Pink Moon," directed by Mehrdad Oskouei, won the award for Best Film in the international competition. The film tells the story of sixteen-year-old Soraya from Afghanistan as she tries to flee Iran. "Past Future Continuous," which won the Envisions Competition, follows Maryam, who uses security cameras in the US to stay in touch with her parents in Iran. This film was directed by Morteza Ahmadvand and Firouzeh Khosrovani.
