The film "Why Do I See You In Everything?", directed by Rand Abou Fakher, explores the friendship between two Syrian childhood friends in exile in Berlin. A blend of documentary and fiction, the film depicts their lives from olive groves to battlefields. The International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) also presents a short film program by Collectif Faire-Part, which explores colonial history and decolonial resistance themes. Both projects received support from the VAF/Film Fund.
