Tim Davie, director of the BBC, and Deborah Turness, CEO of BBC News, have resigned following a controversy surrounding the editing of a speech by Donald Trump on the Panorama program. The edit falsely suggested that Trump incited the January 6 riots at the Capitol. The decisions followed a report documenting allegations of bias within the BBC. Davie and Turness have taken responsibility for these and other errors within the organization.
