The Dutch film "Voor de meisjes" (For the Girls), directed by Mike van Diem, has attracted more than 250,000 visitors in six weeks, according to producer Kepler Film. It is the first Dutch non-children's film to reach this milestone this year. The film, which won three Golden Calves, tells the story of two couples who, while on vacation, are confronted with difficult choices after one of their daughters suffers a serious accident. The film stars Fedja van Huet, Noortje Herlaar, and Thekla Reuten.
