Italian film producers are warning of the loss of 75,000 jobs due to government cuts to the film industry. During a press conference, representatives from ANICA, APA, and CNA expressed their concerns about the planned reduction of the Film Fund and the revision of tax credits. The cuts include a reduction of the fund from €700 million to €550 million in 2026 and €500 million from 2027 onward. According to ANICA President Alessandro Usai and CNA President Gianluca Curti, this could have disastrous consequences for the sector, including the loss of tens of thousands of jobs.
