The section, curated by Tom Mes, features films such as Nakata's "Female Teacher: Forbidden Sex" and the "Crime Hunter" trilogy. Known for its low budgets and creative freedom, V-Cinema launched directors like Miike Takashi and Kurosawa Kiyoshi. The festival runs from January 29 to February 8, 2026.
