Actor and presenter Joost Prinsen has died at the age of 83 from cancer and a stroke, his daughters and girlfriend Noraly Beyer told NRC. Prinsen was known for his role in "De Stratemakeropzeeshow" (The Stratemaker on the Sea Show) and presented the quiz show "Met het mes op tafel" (With the Knife on the Table) from 1997 to 2015. He also wrote columns and appeared in various television programs and stage roles. In 2004, he was appointed Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau. Prinsen had been suffering from bladder cancer for years.
