The Dutch horror film "Meat Day," directed by Martijn Smits, has been successful internationally and won awards at the Arlington Film Festival in the US. The film, starring actors such as Caro Derkx and Emma Josten, tells the story of animal rights activists who raid a pig farm, only to have the farmer fight back. "Meat Day" has been sold to several countries and will be available on Prime Video starting October 25th. It is the first Dutch film to receive an 18+ rating from Kijkwijzer due to its extreme violence.
