The first Cinekid Lions of 2025 have been awarded. The jury named "Olifantje in het Bos" (Little Elephant in the Woods) Best Dutch Children's Film 2025, and "Honey" won Best Children's Film. The first winners were also announced at Cinekid for Professionals. The €20,000 Eurimages Co-production Development Award went to Saar Ponsioen's "Dreamscape." The €5,000 Filmmore Post-Production Award went to Mirjam Sveinbjörg Thorkelsdottir's "Crawlers." The €9,000 PUBLIKUM Audience Awareness Award went to Filip Mašek's "Acorn's Adventure." Among the short films, "Dog Bridge" and "Lola and the Sound Piano" won in the Sparks Competition, while "Blin Fiducie" and "Autokar" took home prizes in the Flames Competition.
